Caring for your new Kleen-Tex mat
Daily Maintenance
To preserve effective absorption of dirt, dust and moisture in high traffic places, it is essential to vacuum your mat on a daily basis with a powerful brush vacuum cleaner. This will ensure that dirt settled in the pile will effectively be loosened and removed from the matting.
Periodic Maintenance
When entrance matting becomes saturated with dirt, dust and moisture, and the desired results can no longer be obtained with a vacuum cleaner, it is recommended that the matting be washed.
Laundering
Most Kleen-Tex mats can be machine washed up to 60°C. We highly recommend that you do this regularly as it will not only maintain the mats appearance but it will ensure your mat continues to function as a barrier to tracked-in contaminents.
Storing mats
When not in use, mats should be rolled with the fabric side on the inside. Folding mats will create an unsightly crease in the fabric and cause an edge ripple that may lead to a person tripping. If you find your mat has developed a crease, it may fall out if stored flat in a safe place for a few hours.
Mat 'Creeping' prevention
'Creeping' can occur with any mat, especially in high traffic areas. |
